POSITION TITLE:       Food Service Cook

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

REPORTS TO:     Food Service Manager

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Complete tasks that the cafeteria manager assigns.

  2. Serve food to students and staff.
  3. Prepare food per recipe.
  4. Appropriately clean all cooking utensils.
  5. Effectively use equipment to prepare food as directed.
  6. Assist in total kitchen cleanup.

  7. Performs all tasks in accordance with HACCP guidelines.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Reports to work at the scheduled time with proper uniform & appropriately groomed.

  2. Adheres to all school district rules & building rules & regulations.

  3. Utilizes proper hand-washing techniques.

  4. Participates in meetings, training sessions & seminars as scheduled.

  5. Completes other tasks as assigned.
